No longer working since updating system

I have been using this app everyday for the last few weeks and even before that for a couple of years without any problems but I finally updated my iPhone to the newest operating system and now the app isnt working (i.e., no sound, no response to touching any of the buttons); it opens but does not do anything. HELP! Otherwise, I love this app.
